It all started when…

Angel Knight Tanner was born and raised in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area. Her passion for fiction flourished in middle school when her eighth-grade teacher encouraged her to read one of her creative writing assignments to her homeroom class and the other eighth-grade classes.

After retirement following a 20-year military career, Angel decided to make her passion for writing a full-time endeavor. She has served in Maryland, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Qatar, Guam, Texas, New Mexico, Afghanistan, and California over her tenure in the Air Force. She spends time with her husband, family, and friends when she is not working on a new book. Her hobbies are reading, writing, traveling, and continuing to find inspiration for novel ideas to share with her fan base.

Her pseudonym, Troii Devereaux, is used for books containing adult material, whereas she will use her given name to fulfill her dream of writing children’s books.

With a bold and unabashed voice, Troii Devereaux delves into situations encompassing sexuality and topics such as violence she has consistently advocated against and wants to bring attention to. While there is an entertaining context behind her stories, Troii wants her readers to recognize the severe aspects to encourage individual confidence unapologetically.
